Sun down, stars out
Nothing much to shout about

Just another day
Party hats, paper horns
Festive feelings so forlorn

Had another dream that we were doing alright
Didn't have a thing to do with 12 o'clock midnight
Woke up in the middle when it seemed like the end
It'd be nice if this life would make sense now and then
Early to bed, late to rise
I don't expect any surprises
