Another song: Wake Up Call (The Hard Goodnight). It’s the first demo, and it was recorded with my iPhone 4S (so it’s in mono, just like the best Beatles albums). Chances are good it won’t stay that way, but I wanted to get something on the site since it’s been a few weeks since the last tune. This was the first time I’d been able to sing in a couple of weeks (other than a benefit I limped through), so you might hear some coughing during the instrumental parts. Every 18 months or so, I finally get around to getting sick, and this time it arrived during a week of PTO I’d arranged (so work didn’t have to suffer anything. I won’t add a convenience charge to that serendipity). All great plans to write and record were defenestrated and I worked on a novel instead.

I’m going to come back to this one soon, but I want to get the band recordings started first.

Perspective, as they can tell from here, changes everything.
